Children’s residential increasing capacity proposals

proposal to increase the CYPS capacity for residential provision.. This includes a proposal to add a third NWD Hub, a 6 bedded cluster consisting of 3 two bedded homes for the most complex children and conversion of an existing building to provide emergency and unplanned care for children. There is an urgent need to increase the property portfolio for children in care due to insufficient capacity in our in-house and increasing use of expensive and poor quality external provision.
